Finally got around to uploading a few of my favorite frames from Egypt.

Simply Meaty

Over the past three months, I cannot begin to count the number of festivals, fairs, carnivals and the like that I have photographed. At each one, there was always someone grilling meat over an enormous grill. Here, at the end of my internship is a tribute to all those grilling photos I shot. The thing is, I never made it a goal to shoot them, it just seemed to happen a lot. None of these photos are any good. This post is meant to be fun, so please do not judge my photography ability based on the next nine photos! ;)

Powered Paragliding

I got to do one of the most interesting things I've ever done this past week. I got the opportunity to go powered paragliding up in Bowling Green, Ohio. My boss showed me the website about this place, and suggested --given my love of flying-- that I give it a try. And try it I did. It was amazing. You are strapped onto a big propeller and use a paraglider once up in the sky to turn, go higher, land, etc. It was a thrilling experience. I highly recommend trying it out if you're at all interested in flight.

Kewpee Triathlon

I got up around 6:00 yesterday morning to photograph the annual Kewpee Triathlon. I really enjoyed it and would like the opportunity to shoot more events like this. Here are some of my images.

Rain

Travelled about an hour down to Celina on Saturday to photograph the Lake Festival. Unfortunately, it rained several times in the 2.5 hours I was there, but here's one photo I got out of it all.

Taxes can be... taxing?

There was a meeting the other day to talk about the possibility of raising the county income tax. Not the best assignment for striking photographs. But I do enjoy the body language in this one.
